Hettie’s wool pet products are not intended for very muddy walking and swimming. If they do get very dirty, then dry cleaning would be the best option. If necessary , they could be washed occasionally on a wool cycle if left to dry naturally. The care label may display machine wash instructions but we highly recommend hand washing our wool products due to the wool content.

Cotton fabrics and linings

Our signature spotty lining and fabrics are made from 100% BCI ( better cotton intitiative ) cotton . We use traditional wax cotton also on some of our products . These can both be rubbed with soapy water and allow to dry naturally. Using a lightly dampened cloth or sponge rub gently with a light circular motion.
