The team at Hettie were delighted to have been approached by the lovely people at The Royal Shakespe.are Company in Straford-upon-Avon They were looking to collaborate with us on a collaborated British Pet Collection and we were thrilled to work with them on this.

British design , workmanship and heritage combining together

The Shakespeare Memorial Theatre opened on it's current site next to the River Avon in 1879, after local brewer, Charles Flower donated the land and launched a campaign to build a theatre in the town of Shakespeare's birth.

After the original theatre was destroyed by fire, the New Shakespeare Memorial Theatre opened its doors on an adjacent site in 1932.

The Royal Shakespeare Company was founded in 1961 by Peter Hall, based in Stratford-upon-Avon and the theatre was renamed the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.

In 2011 Queen Elizabeth officially opened the transformed Royal Shakespeare Theatre

The Hettie for RSC Pet Collection

We worked hard with the lovely team at the Royal Shakespeare Company design our classic pet collections using a stunning grey and white outer fabric and our Hettie touch to the final products.

So happy with the result ! Our classic dog collar, lead , bandana and bow tie have an amazing new vibrant look , with a pop of red on lining to bring out the best on the wool fabric and tie in with the red on the RSC logo.

The fabulous wool fabric was woven by The Isle Mill in Scotland. The Isle Mill combines the finest natural fibres with time-honoured techniques to design and weave distinctive fabrics. From classic paisleys, plaids and tweeds to contemporary textured plains, damasks and the finest sheers. Their collections are inspired by the natural splendour and breathtaking colours of the surrounding Scottish Highlands.
